You’ll see the following error message in H&R Block’s 2017 tax software if, on certain pages, you accidentally entered a start date that occurs after the end date you entered:
The start date can’t be after the end date. Please correct the date you entered. [error code: 166]
How do I fix this?
To fix this error, simply enter the correct start and end dates on the applicable page in H&R Block’s tax software. Depending on your situation, this error could’ve been triggered on any of the following pages:
