You will see the following error message in H&R Block’s 2017 tax software if, on the British Columbia training tax credit for individuals (T1014) page, you indicated that you received more than $2,000 for a federal Apprenticeship Incentive Grant (AIG) in 2017:

The amount you received for a federal Apprenticeship Incentive Grant in 2017 can’t be more than $2,000. Let’s go back and correct this. [error code: 464]

How do I fix this?

To correct the error, return to the British Columbia training tax credit for individuals page and enter the correct amount of the AIG you received in 2017. You can’t receive more than the lifetime maximum of $2,000.
