20 Minute Review
You’ll get a phone review for 20 minutes with one of our experienced tax experts who will check for errors, answer all your questions, and make sure you get the most out of your return.
40 Minute Review
If you’re looking for a comprehensive review of your return, then this service is the one for you. You’ll get a 40-minute phone review with one of our tax experts during which you'll get your questions answered and receive suggestions to maximize your return.
How Expert Review works
- Choose a 20-minute or 40-minute call.
- Book your appointment online at a time that's convenient for you.
- Before your call, a tax expert will look for errors and tax-saving opportunities in your return.
- At the time of the call, your tax expert will contact you based on the information you provided when you booked your service.
- Your tax expert will provide their recommendations and answer your questions.
Where can I purchase a review?
You can purchase your preferred Expert Review service by clicking the Support link in the header of H&R Block’s 2017 tax software.
How do I purchase and book my review?
To purchase your review:
- Click the Support link in the header of the H&R Block 2017 tax software.
- Under Get your return reviewed by a tax expert, click BUY NOW.
- Choose the review that is right for you.
If you aren’t sure how much time you need, click any or all of the situation boxes that apply to you and we’ll show you our recommendation.
- Once you have seen your recommendation, click BUY NOW on the review service that you’d like to purchase.
After you have entered your payment information, you’ll receive an email confirmation of your purchase with a link to book your expert review.
- Click the Book your Expert Review link in the email, you’ll be taken to our third-party provider (Coconut) to book your review service.
Note: Make sure you select the correct time zone when booking your review.
Once you have successfully booked your review, you will receive a confirmation email with the date and time of your review.
What if I didn't get an email to book my appointment?
You can find the link to Book your Expert Review under the My Purchases page in the software. Simply click the My Purchases page link in the left-hand sidebar of the software, and use the link you find under your Expert Review purchase.
