How does the widget that links to the help centre work?

H&R Block’s 2017 tax software has an exciting new feature this year – the Help widget! The Help widget, found on all pages of the tax software, provides you easy and quick access to tax-related information from H&R Block’s Online Help Centre without you having to leave the software or switch between multiple screens. Simply, enter the tax topic you need more information on and the widget will pull up the top H&R Block help articles related to this topic.

Note: The widget language is based on the language your browser displays information in. If your browser (such as Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer) always displays in English, the Help widget will show your search results in English. The same is true if your browser natively displays information in French.

How do I use the Help widget?

Follow these steps to get answers to your tax questions:

    1. Click the Help widget icon at the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.
