You will see the following error message in H&R Block’s 2017 tax software if you entered an invalid date in the Date of birth field for yourself and/or your dependant:

The date you entered seems to be invalid. Make sure you enter the correct date in the right format. [error code: 193]

How do I fix this?

To fix this error, return to the Your personal information page or the Your dependants page and enter the correct date of birth in the designated field. The date of birth must be entered in the following format: YYYY-MM-DD
