You'll see the following error message in H&R Block’s 2017 tax software if on the Manitoba tuition fee income tax rebate (T1005) page you entered an eligible tuition amount that you have not claimed in a previous year but did not select the year you graduated:

You need to choose the year you graduated because you entered eligible tuition fees that haven't been claimed in a previous year. [error code: 225]

How do I fix this?

Select the year you graduated before entering an eligible tuition amount paid after December 31, 2003 that you haven’t claimed in a previous year on the Manitoba tuition fee income tax rebate (T1005) page. You can find form Manitoba tuition fee income tax rebate (T1005) under the STUDENTS icon of the PREPARE tab.
